C Peter Konz was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons with the 55th overall pick in the NFL Draft on Friday night. Konz, who was the 23rd pick of the second round, said he is happy to join the Falcons. “It doesn’t matter where I fell to because I love the team that picked me,” Konz said in a teleconference. “I have nothing but great respect for the organization. Now I get to help be part of a winning tradition.”
