Live scores, highlights and updates from the Cincinnati vs. Temple football game
Game Recap
The Cincinnati Bearcats lost to the Temple Owls when the two teams last met in last October, but they didn't allow Temple the same satisfaction this time around. Cincinnati skirted past Temple 15-13.
The Bearcats' RB Michael Warren II filled up the stat sheet. He rushed for 106 yards and one TD on 24 carries. Working against the Bearcats was the performance of QB Desmond Ridder: besides failing to produce a single touchdown, he threw one interception with a passing completion percentage of only 36%.
The losing side was boosted by RB Re'Mahn Davis, who rushed for 71 yards and one TD on 13 carries.
Cincinnati's victory brought them up to 9-1. Temple's loss pushes them down to 7-3.
Cincinnati will take on the Memphis Tigers at 3:30 p.m. ET next week at Liberty Bowl Memorial. Memphis has averaged 39.80 points over the course of their past five games, so Cincinnati might be in for a challenge. As for the Owls, they will face off against the Connecticut Huskies at 3:30 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field. Those two teams will surely be fighting tooth and nail to get back into the win column after losses this week.
