The Trojans fell to Coastal Carolina 35-28. Troy hasn't found any success against Coastal Carolina since Sept. 29 of 2018, this defeat making it three in a row.

Near the top of the highlight reel was McCall's 71-yard TD bomb to RB Braydon Bennett in the second quarter. RB Shermari Jones was in the mix, too, providing Coastal Carolina with two touchdowns.
A silver lining for the Trojans was the play of RB Kimani Vidal, who rushed for one TD and 142 yards on 22 carries.
The loss dropped Troy back to even at 4-4. The win improved the Chanticleers' record to 7-1.
Troy will take on the South Alabama Jaguars at 3:30 p.m. ET next week at Larry Blakeney Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium. As for Coastal Carolina, they will face off against the Georgia Southern Eagles at 6 p.m. ET next week at Allen E. Paulson Stadium.
