Why Colorado can cover

The Buffs have perhaps the best player in college football in Travis Hunter. Hunter enters this week as one of the top contenders to win both the Biletnikoff Award as the nation's best wide receiver and the Jim Thorpe Award as the nation's best defensive back. For the season, Hunter has 30 catches for 342 yards and five touchdowns on offense, and 11 tackles, two pass break-ups and an interception on defense.

Colorado also likely has a future first round NFL Draft pick at quarterback in Shedeur Sanders. When given time to throw, Sanders has proven to be one of the best pure passers in college football. He enters Saturday with 999 passing yards, nine touchdown passes and two interceptions. See which team to pick here.

Why Baylor can cover

In terms of overall matchups, Baylor has a lot working in its favor heading into Saturday. Colorado has attempted more passes than any other team in the country, and its offense is heavily reliant on getting the ball into the hands of Travis Hunter, Jimmy Horn Jr., LaJohntay Wester and Will Sheppard. The Bears currently have the best passing defense in the country, allowing only 75.7 yards per game through the air. Granted, one of Baylor's game's was against Air Force, but the Bears may have the best defense the Buffs have faced thus far.

Offensively, the Bears are physical and have a punishing rushing attack. Running backs Dawson Pendergrass (30 carries, 144 yards, one touchdown) and Richard Reese (35 carries, 140 yards, one touchdown) lead the way for Baylor. On what could be a rainy night in Boulder, the Bears' advantage in the running game could pay dividends. See which team to pick here.
