Duke vs. Notre Dame: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Duke vs. Notre Dame football game
The Duke Blue Devils will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at 7:30 p.m. ET at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium. One thing working in Duke's favor, at least, is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.
Duke put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their undefeated season alive. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 41-7 victory over UConn. With Duke ahead 27-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Riley Leonard did his thing and threw for 248 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown. Jordan Waters also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Notre Dame had to settle for a 17-14 defeat against Ohio State on Saturday. It was the first time this season that Notre Dame let down their fans at home.
Nobody from Notre Dame had a standout game, but they still got scores from Gi'Bran Payne and Rico Flores Jr.
Duke's win bumped their season record to 4-0 while Notre Dame's loss dropped theirs to 4-1. We'll see if Duke can repeat their recent success, or if Notre Dame bounce back and reverse their fortunes.
Duke is hoping to beat the odds on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss.
Keep an eye on the end zone in Saturday's game as both both teams haven't had much trouble getting there this season. The Blue Devils have been frequent visitors to the end zone this season, having averaged 4.8 touchdowns per game. However, it's not like the Fighting Irish struggle in that department as they've been averaging 5.4 per game.
