Eastern Michigan vs. Miami (OH): Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Eastern Michigan vs. Miami (OH) football game
The Miami (OH) RedHawks and the Eastern Michigan Eagles are set to square off in a Mid-American matchup at 3:30 p.m. ET Oct. 9 at Rynearson Stadium. Miami (OH) should still be feeling good after a win, while EMU will be looking to get back in the win column.
The RedHawks were able to grind out a solid victory over the Central Michigan Chippewas last week, winning 28-17.
Meanwhile, EMU came up short against the Northern Illinois Huskies last week, falling 27-20. A silver lining for EMU was the play of WR Hassan Beydoun, who caught 14 passes for 167 yards.
This next matchup is expected to be close, with Miami (OH) going off at just a 1.5-point favorite. Those who got lucky with them against the spread last week might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the squad has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.
The RedHawks' victory brought them up to 2-3 while the Eagles' defeat pulled them down to a reciprocal 3-2. Two defensive stats to keep an eye on: Miami (OH) is stumbling into the game with the 205th most passing touchdowns allowed in the nation, having given up nine on the season. EMU has experienced some struggles of their own as they are 223rd worst in the nation in rushing touchdowns allowed, with ten on the season. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
