FAU vs. Ohio: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Florida Atlantic vs. Ohio football game
The Ohio Bobcats will head out on the road to face off against the FAU Owls at 6:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at FAU Stadium. The two teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Saturday, Ohio was able to grind out a solid win over LIU, taking the game 27-10. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Ohio had established a 24 point advantage.
Meanwhile, FAU took care of business in their home opener on Saturday. They took down Monmouth 42-20. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point FAU had established a 28 point advantage.
FAU can attribute much of their success to Casey Thompson, who finished with 298 total yards and five touchdowns. Thompson wound up with a passer rating of 232.1. WR Tony Johnson did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 91 receiving yards.
Ohio will need to dig deep on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss. They finished last season with a 9-5 record against the spread.
Ohio won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in September of 2022, slipping by FAU 41-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ohio since the team won't have the home-turf advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
