Live scores, highlights and updates from the Florida State vs. North Alabama football game
The Florida State Seminoles will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the North Alabama Lions at 6:30 p.m. ET at Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium. Florida State will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
Last Saturday, Florida State beat Miami (FL) 27-20.
Trey Benson was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Johnny Wilson also helped out with an impressive 82 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, North Alabama couldn't handle Central Arkansas last Saturday and fell 27-14. North Alabama has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
North Alabama's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Takairee Kenebrew, who picked up 107 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and Noah Walters who threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns.
Florida State pushed their record up to 10-0 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.3 points per game. As for North Alabama, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
