Georgia picked up a commitment from Georgia Military College OL Trenton Brown on Friday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
It’s a big pickup, both literally and figuratively, for the Bulldogs. Brown stands 6-foot-9 and weighs in at 350 pounds. He will be one of the biggest players in the SEC once he steps foot on campus.
There must be something different in the water at GMC, a junior college located in Milledgeville, Ga.: Tennessee signed DT Daniel McCullers, who weighed as much as 400 pounds at one point, out of there in 2012.
Brown, who will be a junior when he arrives at Georgia in 2013, could be an immediate help to a Georgia OL that has talent, but is looking to bring in more depth. The Bulldogs now have four OL signees for the 2013 class: Brown, Aulden Bynum, Josh Cardiello and Brandon Kubianow.
Brown is ranked as a four-star prospect and the No 10 junior college player in the nation by 247Sports.com.
