Georgia State vs. Charlotte Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Georgia State vs. Charlotte football game
Game Recap
After a dominant victory in their matchup last week, the Charlotte 49ers were humbled on Saturday. They fell to the Georgia State Panthers 20-9. The result was an unfortunate reminder to the 49ers of the 28 to nothing loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head in September of 2017.
The game brought Georgia State to 1-2 and dropped Charlotte to a mirror-image 2-1.
Charlotte will take on the Middle Tenn. Blue Raiders at 6:30 p.m. ET next Friday at Jerry Richardson Stadium. Like Charlotte, Middle Tenn. is looking to wash their mouths of the taste of defeat after falling 27-13 to the UTSA Roadrunners. As for the Panthers, they will face off against the Auburn Tigers at 4 p.m. ET next Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Unlike Georgia State, Auburn will be stumbling in off of a defeat.
