GRAMBLING, La. (AP) Ka'travion Hargrove rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns to help Grambling to a 41-20 win over long-time rival Jackson State in a non-conference battle on Saturday night.

Hargrove capped an eight-play, 77-yard opening drive with a 7-yard touchdown run to kick-start Grambling. Caleb Lee-Collins capped the first half with a 22-yard pick-6 in the final minute to send the Tigers into halftime with a 21-13 lead.

Jacobian Morgan hit Ja'Naylon Dupree with a 66-yard touchdown pass with 3:23 left to cut the Jackson State deficit to 21-20, but the Tigers did not score again.

Grambling entered leading the nation with 10 takeaways, seven of them interceptions, and added to that total with two picks and three fumble recoveries, returning an interception for a touchdown and recovering a fumble in the end zone for a score.

Myles Crawley was 16 of 28 for 167 yards passing and a score to lead Grambling (3-1).

Cam'Ron McCoy completed 8 of 17 passes for 140 yards with a touchdown and interception. Morgan was 5 of 12 for 139 yards with a touchdown and interception.

The game was the 72nd meeting between the schools. The Tigers lead the series 48-23-1.
