Live scores, highlights and updates from the Houston vs. Grambling State football game
Game Recap
The Houston Cougars got themselves on the board against the Grambling State Tigers on Saturday, but Grambling State never followed suit. Houston took their game at home with ease, bagging a 45 to nothing victory over the Tigers. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21 to nothing.
The contest pushed Grambling State down to 1-2 and pulled Houston up to the reverse at 2-1.
Houston has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome the Navy Midshipmen at 7 p.m. ET Sept. 25 at TDECU Stadium. Navy took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Houston's good fortune. As for the Tigers, they will face off against the Prairie View A&M Panthers at 5 p.m. ET next Saturday at Cotton Bowl. Prairie View A&M is 0-1 after wins this season, and Grambling State is 0-1 after losses.
