Houston vs. Oklahoma State: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Houston vs. Oklahoma State football game
1st Quarter Report
Houston is giving their home crowd exactly what they were hoping for. They have a bit of a cushion as they currently lead Oklahoma State 14-3.
If Houston keeps playing like this, they'll bump their record up to 4-6 in no time. On the other hand, Oklahoma State will have to make due with a 7-3 record unless they turn things around.
Preview
Houston will be in front of their home fans on Saturday, but a look at the spread shows they might need that home-field advantage. They will take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys at 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday. Both of these teams will be coming in off a loss in a game they were expected to win.
Last Saturday, Houston couldn't handle Cincinnati and fell 24-14. Houston has not had much luck with Cincinnati recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Nobody from Houston had a standout game, but they got scores from Donovan Smith and Joseph Manjack IV.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma State unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. It's going to take some time for them to recover from the 45-3 bruising that UCF dished out on Saturday.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, the Cowboys weren't very productive on the ground and finished the game with only 52 rushing yards. They were smoked by their opponents in that department as UCF rushed for 293.
Houston has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Oklahoma State, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
