Through 3 Quarters

After a tough loss on the road their last time out, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns look much better today on their home turf. Three quarters in and their offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating the Nicholls Colonels 24-10 three quarters in.

The Ragin' Cajuns and Nicholls both experienced trouble in their last games, but one is bound to make up for it today. At this point it looks like Louisiana might take this one, but there's still plenty of time for a reversal of fortune.

What to Know

The Nicholls Colonels are staying on the road Saturday to face off against the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns at 7 p.m. ET Sept. 11 at Cajun Field.

The Colonels were expected to have a tough go of it last week, and, well, they did. Their painful 42-17 defeat to the Memphis Tigers might stick with them for a while. Nicholls was in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 29-7.

Meanwhile, the contest between Louisiana and the Texas Longhorns last week was not a total blowout, but with the Ragin' Cajuns falling 38-18 on the road, it was darn close to turning into one. No one had a standout game offensively for Louisiana, but QB Levi Lewis led the way with one touchdown.

Both of these teams will be looking to put their recent losses behind them and walk away with a win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
