Illinois vs. FAU updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Illinois vs. Florida Atlantic football game
The Illinois Fighting Illini will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the FAU Owls at 3:30 p.m. ET at Memorial Stadium. Illinois might want some stickum for this matchup since the team allowed five turnovers on Saturday.
Illinois' 8-4 record from last season has become a distant memory after another unsuccessful outing. They received a tough blow as they fell 30-13 to Penn State.
Meanwhile, FAU took a serious blow against Clemson on Saturday, falling 48-14. FAU were in a tough position after the first half, with the score sitting at 34-0.
In addition to losing their last games, both Illinois and FAU failed to cover the spread. Looking ahead, Illinois are the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 14 points. This contest might not be the best time to bet FAU against the spread since they've let bettors down the last three times they've played.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see who turns their luck around and who leaves disappointed once again.
