Live scores, highlights and updates from the Indiana vs. Michigan football game
Game Recap
The Michigan Wolverines entered their contest on Saturday as the heavy favorite, and they fully lived up to expectations. They put the hurt on the Indiana Hoosiers with a sharp 39-14 win. Since the Wolverines won the last time these teams met, too, this is only more fuel for the fire driving IU's future revenge.
Michigan started the game off right with 21 first-half points. IU wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 14 to make it 21-14 heading into the break. Michigan put the matchup away in the third quarter with 18 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense.
WR Nico Collins had a stellar game for Michigan as he caught six passes for 165 yards and three TDs. That receiving effort made it the first game that Collins has posted more than 100 yards receiving. QB Shea Patterson also deserves a shout-out for his five TDs.
Michigan will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ohio State Buckeyes at noon ET next week at Michigan Stadium. OSU is also hoping to continue their momentum after a victory on Saturday. As for the Hoosiers, they will go up against the Purdue Boilermakers at noon ET at Ross-Ade Stadium.
