If Memphis keeps playing like this, they'll bump their record up to 10-3 in no time. On the other hand, Iowa State will have to make due with a 7-6 record unless they turn things around.

The Memphis Tigers and the Iowa State Cyclones will square off in the Liberty Bowl at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium 3:30 p.m. ET on Friday. Memphis is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Memphis put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season back in November. Everything went their way against Temple as Memphis made off with a 45-21 victory. Memphis pushed the score to 35-14 by the end of the third, a deficit Temple had little chance of recovering from.
Memphis relied on the efforts of Blake Watson, who gained 134 total yards and two touchdowns, and Seth Henigan, who threw for 250 yards and four touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Brandon Thomas, who rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Meanwhile, the matchup between Iowa State and Kansas State back in November hardly resembled the 10-9 effort from their previous meeting. Iowa State came out on top against Kansas State by a score of 42-35.
Abu Sama III went supernova for Iowa State, rushing for 276 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 17.3 yards per carry. Sama III's longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards. Jaylin Noel was in the mix too, providing Iowa State with two touchdowns.
Memphis has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Iowa State, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
Memphis is hoping to beat the odds on Friday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss.
