Iowa vs. Colorado State: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Iowa vs. Colorado State football game
The Iowa Hawkeyes will stay at home another week and welcome the Colorado State Rams at 3:30 p.m. ET Sept. 25 at Kinnick Stadium. These two teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
A well-balanced attack led the Hawkeyes over the Kent State Golden Flashes every single quarter on their way to victory last week. Iowa was the clear victor by a 30-7 margin over Kent State. Iowa's RB Tyler Goodson was on fire, rushing for three TDs and 153 yards on 22 carries.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up 3-3 at the half for Colorado State and the Toledo Rockets last week, but Colorado State stepped up in the second half for a 22-6 win.
Iowa is the favorite in this one, with an expected 23-point margin of victory. They have been consistent moneymakers against the spread when favored (2-0), so they might be worth a quick bet.
The wins brought the Hawkeyes up to 3-0 and the Rams to 1-2. A couple stats to keep an eye on: Iowa is 202nd worst in the nation in passing yards per game, with only 154.3 on average. Colorado State has experienced some struggles of their own as they are stumbling into the game with the 173rd most passing yards allowed per game in the nation, having given up 244 on average. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
