Bowl season is underway, and the Clemson Tigers and the Iowa State Cyclones will compete for postseason bragging rights in the Cheez-It Bowl at Camping World Stadium at 5:45 p.m. ET Wednesday. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.

RB Breece Hall had a dynamite game for Iowa State; he rushed for three TDs and 242 yards on 18 carries in addition to snatching one receiving TD. Hall put himself on the highlight reel with an 80-yard TD scramble in the fourth quarter. Hall's sharp performance set his single-game rushing touchdown high for the season.

Iowa State's defense was a presence as well, as it got past the Horned Frogs' offensive line to sack QB Max Duggan five times for a total loss of 40 yards. It was a group effort with five guys contributing.

This next contest is expected to be close, with the Tigers going off at just a 2-point favorite. They covered an 11.5-point spread five weeks ago, so bettors might be thinking that will translate to further success against a lower spread.
