Gus Malzahn spent the week trying to determine who he would start in the Iron Bowl against Alabama, and for the second straight week the decision is Auburn senior quarterback Jeremy Johnson.
The Tigers announced Johnson would start a little over an hour and a half before kickoff in Tuscaloosa. Johnson led the Tigers to a 55-0 win a week ago against Alabama A&M, completing 14-of-19 passes for 147 yards and one touchdown and ran for 42 yards and two touchdowns on six carries.
John Franklin III will still see snaps in a run heavy package -- a week ago he had four rushes for 81 yards and a touchdown -- while Sean White, who started much of the season, will be the backup.
