Kansas vs. Oklahoma State updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Kansas vs. Oklahoma State football game
Game Recap
The Oklahoma State Cowboys ran circles around the Kansas Jayhawks Saturday, and the extra yardage (593 yards vs. 193 yards) paid off. Oklahoma State was fully in charge, breezing past Kansas 47-7 on the road. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Cowboys had established a 44 to nothing advantage.
Oklahoma State can attribute much of their success to RB Chuba Hubbard, who rushed for two TDs and 145 yards on 20 carries. QB Shane Illingworth had a good game, too, finishing with three touchdowns.
Special teams collected 17 points for Oklahoma State. K Alex Hale delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.
Kansas' only touchdown came from RB Velton Gardner.
The contest pushed the Jayhawks down to 0-2 and pulled the Cowboys up to the reverse at 2-0.
Oklahoma State will hit the road for the second straight week as they head to McLane Stadium at 1 p.m. ET in two weeks. The Baylor Bears took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Oklahoma State's good fortune. Kansas will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against the West Virginia Mountaineers at noon ET in two weeks at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium.
