Kansas vs. Texas Tech updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Kansas vs. Texas Tech football game
Texas Tech is 7-1 against Kansas since October of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Texas Tech Red Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Kansas Jayhawks at 12:00 p.m. ET at Kivisto Field at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium. Texas Tech is expected to lose this one by 3.5 points, so we'll see if that gives them a bit of motivation.
Last Thursday, Texas Tech was able to grind out a solid win over TCU, taking the game 35-28.
Tahj Brooks and Behren Morton were among the main playmakers for Texas Tech as the former rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown and the latter threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.
Meanwhile, Kansas earned a 28-21 victory over Iowa State on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kansas.
Kansas' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jason Bean, who threw for 287 yards and a touchdown while picking up 12.5 yards per attempt. Quentin Skinner did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 84 receiving yards.
Their wins bumped Texas Tech to 4-5 and Kansas to 7-2.
Not only did both teams in this Saturday's match win their last matches, they also took care of their bettors and covered the spread. Going forward, Kansas is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 3.5 points. They might be worth a quick bet since they're sitting on a four game streak of covering the spread when playing at home.
Texas Tech strolled past Kansas in their previous matchup back in November of 2022 by a score of 43-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for Texas Tech since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
