Louisiana-Monroe vs. Jackson State updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday

Game Recap

If the Jackson State Tigers were riding high off their 38-16 takedown of the Tennessee State Tigers last week, that ride came to an abrupt end. Jackson State was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 12-7 to the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.

The loss dropped the Tigers' record to 2-1. The win got Louisiana-Monroe back to even at 1-1.

Jackson State will be playing at home against the Delta State Statesmen at 3 p.m. ET next Saturday. Louisiana-Monroe will be hunkering down at home again for their game against the Troy Trojans at 8 p.m. ET Sept. 25 at JPS Field at James L. Malone Stadium. Troy is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 21-9 win over the Southern Miss Golden Eagles on Saturday.
