The North Texas Mean Green will head out on the road to face off against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Joe Aillet Stadium. North Texas is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.

In almost any game, 39 points would all but guarantee a win. Not in this one. North Texas fell 46-39 to FIU on Saturday. North Texas didn't live up to their potential and found themselves falling short of the advantage oddsmakers thought they had coming into the game.

QB Chandler Rogers put forth a good effort for the losing side as he threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns on 15 attempts. WR Damon Ward also helped out by posting a receiving touchdown.

Meanwhile, Louisiana Tech was fully in charge on Saturday, breezing past Northwestern State 51-21 at home. The success represented a nice turnaround for Louisiana Tech who in their last game suffered a tough 38-14 defeat.

K Jacob Barnes played a big role in the win, making all three of his field goal attempts. The team also got some help courtesy of RB Keith Willis Jr., who rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns.

North Texas will need to dig deep on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss. They finished last season with a 7-6 record against the spread.

Everything went North Texas' way against Louisiana Tech in their previous matchup last October as they made off with a 47-27 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Texas since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
