Game Recap
The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs stumbled on the road last week against the Mississippi State Bulldogs, but they seem to have regained their footing back home. The Bulldogs skirted past the Southeastern Louisiana Lions 45-42.
Louisiana Tech's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 24 points in the first half. The Lions were right behind to make the score 24-21 heading into the break. The offense for Louisiana Tech continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 21 points to put the game away. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 1-1.
Louisiana Tech has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome the SMU Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. ET Sept. 18 at Joe Aillet Stadium. Like Louisiana Tech, SMU is also coming into the contest bolstered by a recent victory. The Lions will hit the road for the second straight week as they head to Arute Field at noon ET next Saturday.
