Louisiana vs. Nicholls Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Louisiana vs. Nicholls football game
Game Recap
The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns stumbled on the road last week against the Texas Longhorns, but they seem to have regained their footing back home. Louisiana skirted past the Nicholls Colonels 27-24.
The Ragin' Cajuns got off to a slow start in their game last week against Texas, but they had no such trouble against the Colonels as they cruised to a 17-point first half. Nicholls countered with 10 points. Louisiana almost let the contest get away from them in the second half, but they had just enough oomph to take it.
The win got Louisiana back to even at 1-1. Nicholls' overall record fell to 0-2.
The Ragin' Cajuns will play host again and welcome the Ohio Bobcats to Cajun Field, where kick-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on Thursday. Unlike Louisiana, Ohio will be limping in after taking a loss. The Colonels can take some time to mend their wounds since their next matchup isn't for a while. They will face the North Alabama Lions at John L. Guidry Stadium at 4 p.m. ET in two weeks.
