Louisville vs. Boston College: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Louisville vs. Boston College football game
The Louisville Cardinals will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the Boston College Eagles at 3:30 p.m. ET at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium. Louisville are out to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
Louisville extended their game-winning streak to four on Saturday. They walked away with a 21-14 victory over Indiana.
Louisville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was RB Jawhar Jordan out in front who rushed for 113 yards and one touchdown. Jordan is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in at least one in the last three games he's played. Louisville also got help from WR Jamari Thrash who showed off his sure hands for 159 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Boston College went for two against Florida State on Saturday, and the resulting failed attempt cost them the match. Boston College fell just short of Florida State by a score of 31-29. Sadly, the defeat only continues a disappointing trend for Boston College: they've now lost five straight matchups with Florida State.
Despite the defeat, Boston College got a solid performance out of QB Thomas Castellanos, who threw for 305 yards and one touchdown.
While only Boston College took care of their fans the last time they played, neither team managed to cover. Looking ahead, Louisville are the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 14 points. There could be an interesting gambling play in this one: Boston College is only 1-2 against the spread overall, but they're a solid 4-1 against Louisville across their last five meetings.
Louisville and Boston College were almost perfectly matched up in their previous matchup last October, but Louisville suffered an agonizing 34-33 defeat. Will Louisville have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the match or check back on CBS Sports to find out.
