Brandon Harris' time at LSU is over. The former starting quarterback for the Tigers announced via Twitter on Monday that he was intent on transferring.

According to Harris, first-year coach Ed Orgeron, who acted as the team's interim coach for a majority of the 2016 season, granted the player a full release. It has not yet been announced to where Harris will transfer.
Harris started last season as LSU's starting quarterback, but was quickly replaced by Danny Etling and finished the season with just 139 passing yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. LSU finished the year 101st nationally in passing offense. Harris was LSU's full-time starter in 2015 when he threw for 2,158 yards and 13 touchdowns while running for another 226 yards with four scores.
Harris began his career began with promise as he split time with Anthony Jennings, who later transferred himself to Louisiana-Lafayette.
