Live scores, highlights and updates from the LSU vs. Louisiana-Monroe football game
Game Recap
The LSU Tigers picked up a 27-14 win over the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks on Saturday.
LSU QB Max Johnson was slinging it as he passed for two TDs and 319 yards on 33 attempts in addition to punching in one rushing touchdown. Near the top of the highlight reel was Johnson's 67-yard TD bomb to WR Malik Nabers in the second quarter.
No one had a standout game offensively for Louisiana-Monroe, but they got scores from TE Zach Rasmussen, WR Boogie Knight, and QB Chandler Rogers.
The victory improved the Tigers' record to 5-6. Louisiana-Monroe's defeat pushed them down to 4-7.
LSU will take on the Texas A&M Aggies at 7 p.m. ET next Saturday at home. LSU will need a sterling offensive performance if they want to penetrate an unbending defense that has allowed an average of only 14.91 points per game. Louisiana-Monroe is staying on the road next Saturday to face off against the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns at 4 p.m. ET Nov. 27 at Cajun Field.
