Miami (FL) vs. Florida State updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Miami (FL) vs. Florida State football game
Game Recap
The Miami (FL) Hurricanes were successful in their previous meeting against the Florida State Seminoles, and they didn't afford FSU any payback this time around. The Hurricanes steamrolled past FSU 52-10 at home. That looming 42-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Miami (FL) yet this year.
Miami (FL) QB D'Eriq King was slinging it as he passed for two TDs and 267 yards on 40 attempts in addition to picking up 65 yards on the ground. RB Cam'Ron Harris was in the mix, too, providing Miami (FL) with two touchdowns.
Miami (FL) defense was a presence as well, as it embarrassed the Seminoles offensive line to sack the QB six times. It was a group effort with six picking up one sack apiece.
No one had a standout game offensively for FSU, but they got scores from QB James Blackman and TE Camren McDonald.
The win for the Hurricanes kept them a perfect 3-0. This is the second loss in a row for FSU and nudges their record down to 0-2.
Miami (FL) will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off; they will square off against the Clemson Tigers at Memorial Stadium at noon ET in two weeks. As for the Seminoles, they will go up against the Jacksonville State Gamecocks at 4 p.m. ET next Saturday at Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium.
