Miami (FL) vs. Oklahoma State Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Tuesday's NCAA Football game

The Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Miami (FL) Hurricanes have had some time off and are no doubt ready to hit the field. Bowl season is underway, and Oklahoma State and Miami (FL) will compete for postseason bragging rights in the Cheez-It Bowl at Camping World Stadium at 5:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday. The Cowboys should still be riding high after a victory, while Miami (FL) will be looking to get back in the win column.

Oklahoma State ran circles around the Baylor Bears two weeks ago, and the extra yardage (608 yards vs. 156 yards) paid off. Oklahoma State claimed a resounding 42-3 win over Baylor on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28 to nothing. WR Dillon Stoner and RB Dominic Richardson were among the main playmakers for Oklahoma State as the former caught eight passes for three TDs and 247 yards and the latter rushed for three TDs and 169 yards on 23 carries. That receiving effort made it the first game that Stoner has posted more than 100 yards receiving.

Meanwhile, Miami (FL) entered their matchup against the North Carolina Tar Heels two weeks ago without any home losses -- but there's a first time for everything. Miami (FL) was completely outmatched by UNC at home and fell 62-26. It was supposed to be a close contest, and the Hurricanes were supposed to come out on top, but neither of those things ended up happening. Despite the loss, they had strong showings from QB D'Eriq King, who passed for two TDs and 239 yards on 30 attempts in addition to picking up 53 yards on the ground, and TE Brevin Jordan, who caught six passes for one TD and 140 yards. One of the most thrilling moments was Jordan's 76-yard TD reception in the third quarter.

A pair of defensive numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: The Cowboys come into the contest boasting the 13th most sacks in the nation at 31. The Hurricanes are not quite as good, but they are no chumps, either: they enter the game with 27 sacks, good for 19th best in the nation. With that kind of ball pressure, don't be surprised if there are a lot of short passes in this one.
