Minnesota defensive lineman Ra'Shede Hageman was arrested early Thursday morning after getting into a fight outside of a bar near the school campus.
According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Hageman had been drinking at Sally's Saloon and Eatery and was arrested outside the bar around closing time. There were no injuries and nobody else was arrested. The police don't know what caused the fight.
Hageman was booked into Hennepin County Jail on suspiscion of disorderly conduct and has since posted bond.
Minnesota is aware of the incident.
"He was in the middle of [the incident] trying to break it up," Minnesota spokesman Garry Bowman told the paper. "We are still trying to gather more information. Coach Kill will look into it more when he talks to Ra'Shede."
Hageman played in all 12 games for the Gophers as a sophomore in 2011, serving primarily as a pass-rusher.
