Live scores, highlights and updates from the Missouri vs. South Carolina football game
Game Recap
The South Carolina Gamecocks typically have all the answers at home, but on Saturday the Missouri Tigers proved too difficult a challenge. Mizzou sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 31-28 win. That's another feather in the cap for them, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Mizzou's RB Tyler Badie, who rushed for one TD and 209 yards on 34 carries. QB Connor Bazelak didn't exactly stuff the stat sheet, but finished with two touchdowns.
Mizzou's defense was a presence as well, as it collected one interception and three fumbles. DB Kris Abrams-Draine picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown.
A silver lining for the Gamecocks was the play of RB ZaQuandre White, who punched in one rushing touchdown in addition to snatching one receiving TD.
The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 5-5.
Mizzou will stay at home against the Florida Gators at 4 p.m. ET Nov. 20 at Memorial Stadium at Faurot Field. Florida is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 70-52 victory over the Samford Bulldogs on Saturday. As for USC, they will go up against the Auburn Tigers at 7 p.m. ET next Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium. Like the Gamecocks, Auburn is looking to wash their mouths of the taste of defeat after falling 43-34 to the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
