Navy vs. Tulsa Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Navy vs. Tulsa football game
The Navy Midshipmen are 6-1 against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane since November of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Midshipmen and Tulsa will face off in an American Athletic battle at 3:30 p.m. ET at Jack Stephens Field at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W.'
It was close but no cigar for Navy as they fell 13-10 to the Air Force Falcons last week. Navy's only offensive touchdown came on a rush from QB Tai Lavatai.
Meanwhile, Tulsa came up short against the Cincinnati Bearcats last week, falling 31-21. Tulsa's loss came about despite a quality game from RB Deneric Prince, who punched in two rushing touchdowns.
Navy is expected to lose this next one by 5.5. However, those who like betting on the underdog should be happy to hear that they are 2-0 against the spread when expected to lose.
The Midshipmen are now 1-3 while the Golden Hurricane sit at 2-3. A couple defensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: Navy ranks fourth in the nation when it comes to rushing touchdowns allowed, with only two on the season. As for Tulsa, they come into the contest boasting the 26th fewest passing yards allowed per game in the nation at 184.4.
