The NC State Wolfpack decided to play defense against itself on Saturday, but the squad still came out ahead despite their 107 penalty yards. They were able to grind out a solid win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, winning 23-13. For the Wolfpack, this is just revenge for the 28-26 loss they suffered against Georgia Tech the last time they faced one another on Nov. 21 of last year.
NC State took a little while to warm up, but they followed up a slow three-point first quarter with 17 points in the second. Georgia Tech countered with 7 points. NC State coasted a bit in the second half, relying primarily on their first half lead, but they still walked away with the victory.
