The NC State Wolfpack bagged a 34-27 win over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs on Saturday.
NC State's RB Zonovan Knight was one of the most active players for the squad, rushing for two TDs and 109 yards on 14 carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Knight has had all year. QB Devin Leary had a good game, too, finishing with two touchdowns.
A silver lining for Louisiana Tech was the play of QB Austin Kendall, who passed for three TDs and 341 yards on 43 attempts in addition to picking up 71 yards on the ground.
The victory bumped the Wolfpack's record up to 4-1. The Bulldogs' overall record fell to 2-3.
NC State will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off; they will square off against the Boston College Eagles at Alumni Stadium at noon ET in two weeks. Louisiana Tech is on the road again in two weeks and plays against the UTEP Miners at 9 p.m. ET Oct. 16 at Sun Bowl.
