Nebraska received a commitment from three-star quarterback Dayton Raiola on Sunday evening. Raiola, the younger brother of current Cornhuskers starting quarterback Dylan Raiola and son of former Nebraska offensive lineman Dominic Raiola, is the No. 53 quarterback prospect in the class of 2026.

"THE LEGACY CONTINUES," Raiola wrote in his commitment announcement on social media.

The younger Raiola is in his first season starting at Georgia's Buford High School, where he has stepped in for his older brother, and has thrown for 564 yards and four touchdowns through four games. He chose Nebraska over reported offers from Appalachian State and Charlotte

Raiola is the first prospect to join Nebraska's 2026 recruiting class, which now ranks 49th in the 247Sports Team Composite. In addition to his older brother and father's ties to Nebraska, Raiola's uncle, Donovan, is the current offensive line coach on Matt Rhule's staff.

Dylan Raiola earned Nebraska's starting job out of fall camp. Through four games, he's led the Cornhuskers to a 3-1 record with 83 completions for 967 yards and eight touchdowns. His 8.4 yards per pass attempt currently ranks third among Big Ten quarterbacks with at least 100 attempts.
