Live scores, highlights and updates from the Nebraska vs. Michigan football game
Michigan has played every game this season on their home field, but they'll have to hit the road on Saturday. They will square off against the Nebraska Cornhuskers at 3:30 p.m. ET at Tom Osborne Field at Memorial Stadium. Michigan is currently enjoying a perfect season, with four straight wins to start things off.
One look at the score and it should come as no surprise that Michigan was far and away the favorite against Rutgers. Everything went Michigan's way against Rutgers on Saturday as Michigan made off with a 31-7 victory. 31 seems to be a good number for Michigan as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game against Bowling Green.
Blake Corum and J.J. McCarthy were among the main playmakers for Michigan as the former rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns and the latter threw for 214 yards and a touchdown. McCarthy wound up with a passer rating of 172.7.
Meanwhile, Nebraska's game on Saturday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They strolled past Louisiana Tech with points to spare, taking the game 28-14.
Nebraska's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Anthony Grant, who rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown, and Heinrich Haarberg, who threw for 107 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 157 yards and a touchdown. One of Haarberg's best plays was a 72 yard sprint for a TD in the fourth quarter.
Their wins bumped Michigan to 4-0 and Nebraska to 2-2.
Looking ahead, Michigan is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 18 points. This will be their first time playing on the road this season.
