Live scores, highlights and updates from the Nebraska vs. Minnesota football game
Game Recap
The Minnesota Golden Gophers won the last time they met up with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Minnesota came out on top against Nebraska by a score of 24-17 Saturday. The squad ran away with 17 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those in the second to pick up the win.
The Golden Gophers' RB Mohamed Ibrahim did his thing and rushed for two TDs and 108 yards on 20 carries. More help came courtesy of LB Mariano Sori-Marin, who was good for 11 tackles.
QB Adrian Martinez put forth a good effort for the losing side as he passed for one TD and 111 yards on 27 attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 88 yards.
The win got Minnesota back to even at 3-3. Nebraska's overall record fell to 2-5. With that, the West Division playoffs come to an end.
