The Montana State Bobcats will hit the road to start this year's campaign against the New Mexico Lobos. Kickoff is scheduled at 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at University Stadium.
A big factor in this game might be rushing yards, as these two were some of the best in the league in that department last year. Montana State were ranked first in the nation last season, having averaged 292.4 per game. New Mexico did well in that department too, as they were ranked 19th with an average of 192.7 per game.
Looking back to last season, Montana State had a phenomenal run, finishing with a superb 8-4 record. On the other hand, New Mexico finished with a dismal 4-8 record.
Looking forward, Montana State is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 10.5 points. They finished last season with an even 6-6 record against the spread.
