Ohio vs. Iowa State updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Ohio vs. Iowa State football game
Ohio will be in front of their home fans on Saturday, but a look at the spread shows they might need that home-field advantage. They will take on the Iowa State Cyclones at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday. Ohio should still be feeling good after a big victory, while Iowa State will be looking to get back into the win column.
Last Saturday, Ohio was able to grind out a solid win over FAU, taking the game 17-10.
Meanwhile, the defenses reigned supreme when Iowa State and Iowa played on Saturday, rewarding bettors who took the risk on the low 35.5-point over/under. Iowa State took a 20-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of Iowa. Iowa State was down 20-3 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Despite the loss, Iowa State got a solid performance out of WR Jayden Higgins, who scored a touchdown off of 95 receiving yards.
There's no need to mince words: Ohio lost to Iowa State in their previous matchup last September, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 43-10. Will Ohio have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the contest or check back on CBS Sports to find out.
