OKLA vs. TCU updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Oklahoma vs. TCU football game
Game Recap
On Saturday, the Oklahoma Sooners turned the game against the TCU Horned Frogs into a track meet and took the gold after outgaining them 504 yards to 196. Oklahoma managed a 28-24 win over TCU. That result was just more of the same for the Sooners, who also won the last time these teams played (Oct. 20 of last year).
Oklahoma's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 21 points in the first half. TCU countered with 10 points, leaving the score at 21-10 going into the half. Oklahoma coasted a bit in the second half, relying primarily on their first half lead, but still walked away with the victory.
QB Jalen Hurts had a stellar game for Oklahoma as he rushed for 173 yards and two TDs on 28 carries. RB Kennedy Brooks and his 149 yards on the ground were another key factor in the Sooners' victory.
The Sooners will square off against the Oklahoma State Cowboys at 8 p.m. ET next week at Boone Pickens Stadium. If the matchup is anything like the Sooners' 48-47 win from the last time they met last November, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy. As for the Horned Frogs, they will face off against the West Virginia Mountaineers at 4:15 p.m. ET at Amon G. Carter Stadium. Both of those teams will surely be fighting tooth and nail to get back into the win column after losses this week.
