Oklahoma State vs. South Alabama updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Oklahoma State vs. South Alabama football game
The South Alabama Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Oklahoma State Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, South Alabama's game was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but luckily it didn't stay that way. They took down SE Louisiana 35-17. With that win, South Alabama brought their scoring average up to 26 points per game.
South Alabama can attribute much of their success to RB La'Damian Webb, who rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of WR Caullin Lacy, who scored a touchdown off of 139 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma State wasn't the first on the board on Saturday, but they got there more often. They took their match against Arizona State 27-15. The win made it back-to-back wins for Oklahoma State.
South Alabama will need to dig deep on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss. They finished last season with a 7-5 record against the spread.
Even though the experts think South Alabama isn't going to win this one, the team was an even 1-1 as the underdog last season. Jaguars fans who chose to bet on their team sure did well last year: betting $100 on them to win every matchup netted those bettors $1,204.37. On the other hand, Oklahoma State will play as the favorite, and the team was 4-1 as such last season.
