Oklahoma vs. Arkansas State updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Oklahoma vs. Arkansas State football game
The Oklahoma Sooners will host the Arkansas State Red Wolves to start their respective 2023 campaigns. Kickoff is scheduled at 12:00 p.m. ET on September 2nd at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
Arkansas State finished last season ranked 25th in the nation in fourth down efficiency, having averaged 61.5% over the course of the season. Oklahoma, on the other hand, didn't do so hot: they were ranked 107th with 42.9%.
Arkansas State will be fighting an uphill battle on Saturday as the experts have pegged them as the 36-point underdog. They finished last season with a 7-5 record against the spread.
That disadvantage in the odds might be especially worrying for Arkansas State considering the team didn't win a single game as the underdog last year. A bettor who placed a $100 dollar bet on them to lose every one of the 12 games they played last year would have netted $869.38. Oklahoma will open their season as the favorite, and the team was 6-5 as such last season.
