Oklahoma vs. Iowa State: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Oklahoma vs. Iowa State football game
The Iowa State Cyclones will head out on the road to face off against the Oklahoma Sooners at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Iowa State is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
Iowa State gave up the first points last Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Oklahoma State by a score of 34-27.
Rocco Becht continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 348 yards and three touchdowns. That's the first time this season that Becht passed for three passing touchdowns. It was a true group effort though, as the team also got help from Daniel Jackson, who picked up 90 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their undefeated season alive. They took down Cincinnati 20-6.
It was another big night for Dillon Gabriel, who threw for 322 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 23 yards and a touchdown. Oklahoma also got help from Andrel Anthony who showed off his sure hands for 117 receiving yards.
Their wins bumped Iowa State to 2-2 and Oklahoma to 4-0.
Not only did both teams in this Saturday's match win their last matches, they also took care of their bettors and covered the spread. Looking ahead, the game looks promising for Oklahoma, as the team is favored by a full 20 points. They might be worth a quick bet since they've covered the spread the last four times they've played Iowa State.
Iowa State ended up a good deal behind Oklahoma when they played in their previous matchup last October, losing 27-13. Can Iowa State avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
