The Florida Atlantic Owls typically have all the answers at home, but on Saturday the Old Dominion Monarchs proved too difficult a challenge. Old Dominion took their game against the Owls 30-16.

Special teams collected ten points for the Monarchs. K Nick Rice delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.
RB Johnny Ford put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for one TD and 101 yards on 19 carries.

Old Dominion will square off against the Middle Tenn. Blue Raiders at 3:30 p.m. ET next Saturday at Johnny (Red) Floyd Stadium. Like Old Dominion, Middle Tenn. is also coming into the contest bolstered by a recent win.
