Ole Miss vs. Texas A&M updates: Live NCAAF game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Ole Miss vs. Texas A&M football game
Game Recap
The Ole Miss Rebels fell to the Texas A&M Aggies 24-17 when the teams previously met two seasons ago; this time around, they exacted some revenge. The Rebels were able to grind out a solid win over A&M on Saturday, winning 29-19.
Among those leading the charge for Ole Miss was RB Jerrion Ealy, who picked up 150 yards on the ground on 23 carries. Ealy's longest run was for 53 yards in the second quarter. Ole Miss' DB A.J. Finley got in on the action, too, converting a pick in the fourth quarter into a touchdown.
Texas A&M's defeat came about despite a quality game from RB Devon Achane, who rushed for two TDs and 110 yards on 12 carries.
The victory improved Ole Miss' record to 8-2. A&M's loss pushed them down to 7-3.
Ole Miss will be hunkering down at home again for their contest against the Vanderbilt Commodores at 7:30 p.m. ET Nov. 20 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field. The Rebels will have the chance to boost their scoring average against a Vanderbilt defense that has allowed 35 points per game on average. The Aggies will be playing at home against the Prairie View A&M Panthers at noon ET next Saturday. Like A&M, Prairie View A&M is looking to wash their mouths of the taste of defeat after falling 31-29 to the Alcorn State Braves.
