Oregon State vs. San Diego State: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Oregon State vs. San Diego State football game
The Oregon State Beavers will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the San Diego State Aztecs at 3:30 p.m. ET at Reser Stadium. Oregon State is out to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
Oregon State extended their game-winning streak to six on Saturday. They steamrolled past UC Davis 55-7 at home. Oregon State pushed the score to 48-0 by the end of the third, a deficit UC Davis had no chance of recovering from.
Oregon State's win was the culmination of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from RB Damien Martinez, who rushed for 104 yards and punched in a rushing TD. Martinez's touchdown was no short dash either: it was a 64 yard sprint in the first quarter. QB DJ Uiagalelei was another key contributor, throwing for 107 yards and two touchdowns on 13 attempts.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 36 points the game before, San Diego State faltered in their game on Saturday. They suffered a grim 35-10 defeat to UCLA. The loss put an end to San Diego State's undefeated season.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, the Aztecs weren't very productive on the ground and finished the game with only 63 rushing yards. They were demolished by their opponents in that department as UCLA rushed for 254.
San Diego State have quite the challenge ahead of them as they're expected to be blown off the court. For those looking to play the spread, bear this in mind: they haven't played as the underdogs on the road yet this season.
Looking ahead, the game looks promising for Oregon State, as the team is favored by a full 24.5 points. They finished last season with a stellar 10-2 record against the spread, so they might be worth a quick bet.
