Here are some Pac-12 links from media outlets around the conference:

- The Pac-12's best teams -- Southern California, Oregon, Stanford and Utah -- all have favorable schedules, thereby creating the possibility that a handful will be top-25 regulars and a few will be Bowl Championship contenders this season, Jon Wilner of the San Jose Mercury News reported.
- Two Washington football players who had been kicked off the team on Thursday were reinstated on Friday, Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reported. The two players -- redshirt freshman H-back Joshua Perkins and walk-on tailback Willis Wilson -- had been dismissed the day before for an unspecified "violation of team rules." Coach Steve Sarkisian, though, said some more investigation of the incident that led to the dismissal, and talks with other players helped lead to a change of heart.
- When the State" data-canon="Arizona Wildcats" data-type="SPORTS_OBJECT_TEAM" id="shortcode0"> football team finished spring ball, Mike Bercovici was the presumed starter at quarterback. When the Sun Devils headed to Camp Tontozona earlier this week, Taylor Kelly had grabbed the lead. When the Devils left Camp Tontozona on Saturday following a scrimmage, there was a third possibility: Michael Eubank.
- The new-look helmets have already been leaked. Now here’s a look at Oregon’s new uniforms.
- Noke Tago’s first airplane ride was a long one. A flight between American Samoa and the United States is roughly 15 hours. If you’re lucky. Tago said he flew eight hours to Hawaii, waited there for another eight hours and then made the five-hour trip to Oregon. Tago and Oregon State teammate Rommel Mageo, also from Pago Pago, American Samoa, are both in Corvallis practicing with the Beavers’ football team. It’s their first time away from home, Kevin Hampton of the Corvallis Gazette-Times reported.
- The linebackers must be the strength of Washington State’s defense. That’s not necessarily a statement about the unit’s talent or experience, though there does appear to be more of the former than originally anticipated. It’s simply how defensive coordinator Mike Breske structures his base 3-4 scheme, Christian Caple of the Spokane Spokesman-Review reported.
- As player safety becomes increasingly important in football, USC’s medical staff takes a cautious, thorough approach with concussions. The players go along with the program, even if it doesn’t mesh with their warrior mentality, Michael Lev of the Orange County Register reported.
- The UCLA Bruins enjoyed being spoiled on their first day of fall practice on campus Saturday. First, the team set foot on Spaulding Field's new artificial turf. The grass field adjacent also is new, though both fields are just 80 yards in length. Nevertheless, it was the centerpiece to a warm welcome for the Bruins, who were greeted by much cooler temperatures and a consistent breeze compared to the soaring temperatures and high humidity during the team's two-week stay at Cal State San Bernardino, Miguel Melendez of the Orange County Register reported.
- Let’s pretend Utah’s football season started today and Jordan Wynn’s shoulder was too sore for him to play. Who would take the field and quarterback the Utes? Your guy would be Jon Hays. Whether you love him, hate him or are simply bored with him, the steady-playing senior maintained his slight edge over freshman Travis Wilson as the Utes concluded their fall camp with a scrimmage Saturday, Lya Wodraska of the Salt Lake Tribune reported.
- The challenges of facing all those spread offenses in college football -- multiplied by tricky variations and multiple options available for each play -- is enough to keep a defensive coach awake at night. The season opener is still a few weeks away, and Colorado defensive coordinator Greg Brown could already use a nap, the Denver Post’s Tom Kensler reported.
