The Penn State Nittany Lions won their last game against the Michigan State Spartans, and it was the same story this time around. Penn State strolled past MSU with points to spare Saturday, taking the matchup 39-24. This was the most points they've scored all season.
It was another big night for the Nittany Lions' QB Sean Clifford, who passed for two TDs and 232 yards on 27 attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 48 yards. Another playmaker for Penn State was WR Jahan Dotson, who returned a punt 81 yards to the end zone in the fourth quarter.
A silver lining for MSU was the play of WR Jalen Nailor, who caught six passes for two TDs and 100 yards.
The victory bumped Penn State's record up to 3-5. The Spartans' overall record fell to 2-5. With that, the East Division playoffs come to an end.
